| A Master Key System
is one where different keys work different
locks ddepending on the sort of access you want to give the
key holder. A typical key system includes: |
| Grand Master Key,
working every lock in the master key system.
Usually held by the facility manager. |
| Master Keys, working
a few locks in an area or suite. Possibly all the locks in
a particular department of a business. These keys are usually
held by department managers. |
| Individual Keys,
working one or two locks in the whole master
key system. Possibly a person's office or a cleaning room.
These keys are usually kept by company individuals. |
